I was recently directed to a phenomenal documentary about the food we eat. It’s called “Food, Inc.” and it is a real eye-opener. How many of us really know where the food we eat comes from? How many of us even care? What you need to do is ask yourself those questions, watch “Food, Inc.”, and then re-examine your priorities.

We are providing this here because we feel strongly that this is something everyone should know about. We also feel strongly that the people who did such fine work deserve our support, so we highly recommend that you purchase your own copy of this movie. For more information, please visit the official “Food, Inc.” website and give them your full support. They deserve it!
I hope all went well for you on your time away.
I watched Food, Inc. a couple of weeks ago and haven’t been able to think of food in the same way since…..I swear I will never buy commercially farmed chicken, beef, pork, or turkey again…not ever. We have found emu meat to be a tasty red meat and plan to start raising them as a food source soon. We also have organic beef, pork and poultry farmers in our area which isn’t that far from you, if I remember correctly. We raise a few chickens ourselves.
Thanks for the link…no apologies necessary.
Thanks dustin!
While this is a good introduction to the reality of our food, I still think the documentary, “The Future of Food” paints a more elaborate and specific picture. It can be found and watched at Hulu.com freely.
